Ask HN: Successful founders (turned investors) – are you happy(er)?
I'm reading Tony Hsieh's Delivering Happiness. He was telling the story about how he sold LinkExchange, made a ton of money... and it didn't make him that happy.
Question 1: To the founders who've made a lot of money with exits (say, enough to retire very comfortably) - are you happy? Are you happier than you were before your exit?
Now I'm reading about the part where Tony starts getting involved as an investor, and it seems that he's happier.
Question 2: To founder's who've made money, and then became investors - are you happy? Happier than you were before you started investing? Before you made money?
