- cpach 11y agoWell, I guess even some rich kids might want to make their own fortune rather than living off their parents.
- lern_too_spel 11y agoMy point was that he's more likely to work for himself, whether for increasing his wealth or for some other goal, than care about how employable he is to somebody else.

- plorkyeran 11y agoHe's also apparently already taken Algebra 2, a good five years or so earlier than usual.
- megablast 11y agoDepends where he is. I started at 10 Z80 assembly programming. I still needed to know C# to get a job in Australia.

- baldfat 11y agoSeriously recommend anyone to try out racket. Especially if frustrated by Haskell people.
- mseepgood 11y agoLisps haven't been popular in the last 60 years, they won't be popular in the next 60 years.
- eru 11y agoLots of ideas have moved from Lisps to mainstream languages.
