Some are annoying, yes, but it annoys me when people are jerks to recruiters. We are blessed to be in an industry where recruiters are common.

I've had a number of pleasant experiences with recruiters, meeting me before interviews to drop hints, bringing me coffee, inviting me to vip beer tastings, etc. I feel extremely lucky to be in this line of work and I'm always very nice to the recruiters I meet. The ones that spam my email with irrelevant 2-week contract postings 5000 miles away can fuck right off though.
