Hi! Blog post author here. My initial draft had this at the bottom: "Disclaimer: If you have a recurring problem, power cycling will not fix your root cause. " At some point I must have decided the whole thing was too long and that sentence didn't make the cut. I personally would not go as far as to say:"it's not acceptable to power cycle to fix problems". I see it more like:"not all problems can be fixed with power cycling".
