  Most the people complaining on that thread aren't Windows 10 users but Linux power users so take their word with a grain of salt...

  Useful info: Microsoft pushed their telemetry services to Windows 7 and 8.1 via an update last week. Downgrading may not really help you here.

      Just edit your host file to block the telemetry and botnet sites windows reports to if it bothers ya. Much easier solution.

Upgrade went surprisingly well. I think display driver issues are the most common major problem. My Surface Pro 3 was experiencing such bad video corruption, I started to suspect a hardware issue. Problem was solved with the latest update. Also, my Asus Vivotab still won't play Netflix because the display driver issues with playback of protected media/DRM.
