Wikipedia is also unusually cacheable, a tiny fraction of users are even signed in. More dynamic and personalized content means hitting the limits of a traditional RDBMS with less traffic.
- Joeri 11y agoStackoverflow runs on sql server. Even with dynamic sites, proper design tied to a proper rdbms scales quite nicely
