Assuming a perfect world where there's a 12hrs notice and everyone is informed, we unplug all devices and shut down the power grid. We plug them back a day later, whenever we notice the ground current isn't steong anymore. Would we still have a lot of damage?
- TeMPOraL 11y agoI'm not sure that you can shut down the power grid at 12hrs notice. From what I read, the closer the equipment is to the actual power generation, the less likely it is to be able to shut down like this and survive the process. So the end result would be that everyone's fridge still works, but the city can't get its electricity anyway.
