Ok, so it is a combination of L2ARC and ZIL (zfs intent log), then? L2ARC improves read operations, ZIL improves writes.

L2ARC improves read operations, ZIL improves writes.
- wtallis 11y agoIt's neither. It's just a writeback cache, that gets bypassed for sequential operations.
