Silly gooses!
On a serious note tho. I spent 7h waiting at Charles de Gaules in Paris trying to find a decent seat I could spend more than 1h in without getting my bottom numb and lamentably failed. Why are airport always displaying fancy architectural design and super poor comfort? Is that a cost requirement or are interior designers simply never waiting in an airport themselves and unaware of what's required for comfort?
- rb2k_ 11y agoThat's on of the biggest upsides of Airport lounges. They are usually not noisy and actually have seats that people can sit on for a prolonged period of time. For Americans, just having a credit card with a "priority pass select" membership (Citi Prestige, Amex Platinum) will make stays at larger airports a LOT more pleasant.
- pdabbadabba 11y agoOMG. Rome terminal 5 (I think) is the worst. Good luck even finding a seat, because each gate only has a handful of them even for large international flights, forcing almost everyone to stand or sit on the floor. The idea seems to be to force you to walk around through the maze of Gucci, Bulgari, etc. stores cluttering the terminal until you pass out on the floor clutching a oversized Toblerone.
