To my understanding they do not store the hints. They maintain a request log to enable retransmission of requests made during a offline period. So the hint-thing should not be a thing. On the other hand: The request log requires a user identification method as part of the requests to avoid crediting a "hint-taken" request to the next user in your scenario.
