  In addition to XPC, there is also Mach IPC that uses the Mach Interface Generator. The best documentation for that is Mac OS X Internals: A Systems Approach, by Amit Singh, particularly Chapter 9. Unfortunately not updated since 2006, so missing GCD and XPC, among other things.

  Awesome work. > More importantly, I can start fuzzing message contents to bootstrap/launchd! A simple bit flipping fuzzer has led to about 5 unique crashes. Hopefully in forked child, not PID1?

    He's doing everything in a VM anyway, so it should be trivial to reset the system.
