Seems like we would be better off with android-avatars. There is not really a need to send actual humans to just do the kind of early exploration we want to do at this stage.
- chancho 17y agoBut Avatars shaped like ourselves are still a few decades off, and needlessly complicated to execute. Avatars of our cars have worked out well.
- stcredzero 17y agoAs we go further and further out, the lightspeed delay will become a bigger and bigger inconvenience.
