I have a feeling that the public schools in the 2nd century Roman Empire were significantly different from modern public schools, especially in the United States.
- maxerickson 11y agoI expect they were more similar to US schools of 100 years ago than the US schools of today are (modulo being a lot more aristocratic in their student population).
