The info on the phone could indicate who he spoke to last and potentially who he met with when he was killed.
- xyzzy123 11y ago... which would also be available from the carrier, as would location records from both phones, etc etc. I don't get this opinion piece, the IMEI on the back of a phone should be more than enough (with a little police work) to figure out who owned it.
