I didn't say there was a problem with the design, just that it's inconsistent with their own advice.
In that session the Apple UX evangelist absolutely rips hamburger menus to shreds calling them "tedious" and "terrible" at "telling you where you are [and] where else you can go". Quite a surprise to see it show up on apple.com, then.

- benihana 11y agoStop downvoting this. This isn't even a mildly offensive or challenging view, and it provides a good counterpoint.
- dang 11y agoThe comment had a positive score when its author deleted it. That's one reason not to post complaints about downvoting—they're usually soon obsolete, and meanwhile you've added noise to the thread.
