I know of many contractors in the UK who registered a LTD Company. Since then they have taken permanent jobs so dissolved the company. What's left on the internet if you google their name is their personal details and home addresses. Companies House say there is nothing they can do because the company has been dissolved. However, companies house have sold the data to hundreds of other companies who splatter this private information all over the Internet. These other companies have no processes in place for hiding private information. IMO this is not acceptable and a good application of the right to be forgotten principle. If companies house were not so greedy in selling the data to companies which employ heavy SEO tactics to get hits, the problem would not exist.
