Firstly, if this is a regular occurrence, you have a dysfunctional team. It’s possible that some coaching, retrospectives, and/or tweaks of the overall process of delivery might help. What I do varies based on the situation… but one of the most surefire ways of making headway through difficulty or just frustration is pair programming.
