Get back to me when copyright isn't life + 70 fucking years, rayiner, and we can talk about to what degree those who disagree with the Hollywood stance on copyright enforcement mechanisms and cultural-appropriation strategies, have a moral responsibility to opt out of their own culture entirely. We don't dispute the importance of what Hollywood et al do, we dispute the outsize leverage that gives them in our government and in our laws. And I don't think it is reasonable to expect people to give up a significant portion of their culture while fighting a battle that has, so far, spanned a few generations.
