I hope when Swift becomes open source, MS will add a bridge for Swift as well. I am really looking foreword to making Swift my go to language for web app and utility development. It's a very neat language.

There might be a problem with this. They are currently using ObjFW, an old implementation of the ObjC runtime, but Swift needs some ugly hacks in the ObjC runtime to support the Swift "additions" and "extensions". Will be interesting to see the MS runtime expand as well.

Swift is open source as of WWDC, and Microsoft is working on bringing Swift on as part of this project.

    Unlike Facetime nobody rised patent issues regarding Swift.
