I don't have an Elsevier account, so only read the abstract, which states that lions are seeking denser cover. Some conjecture: Do Zimbabwe villagers live in denser cover? If so, maybe sport hunting increase the threat by forcing lions closer to villagers? That would add a bit of irony to the situation.
